About LICHEN

Lichen is a composite organism (between a fungus and an algae) that symbiotically grows on the surface of the Earth and on trees. Its ephemeral life has travelled across an extraordinary length of time resonating with other lifeforms and matter on our planet. We too exist in symbiosis with everything that exists in space. Perception is an infinite value we are endowed with and exists only through the formation of time and space. As such, LICHEN occupies a layer of perception that resonates and expands in our imagination, a fragment of notes composed on a grander scale of that which has been and will only continue to expand.

About Scent

LICHEN is a spatial design visualised by layers of perception that encompass not only the sense of smell, but also all of our senses, including sight and hearing.The textures of the fragrances, based on natural essential oils are left open to be completed symbiotically with our other senses. Wearing it on the body, lighting it in a room or in the dark makes the space visible by resonating with other senses than merely smell.

LICHEN BASE EAU DE PARFUM 75ml

An eau de parfum that envelops one’s body in the scent created by complex layers of natural essential oils. The signature Base range is made mainly of lichen oakmoss that is layered with the various textures of herbs and sap to provide both depth and dimension to the fragrance. This perfume makes use of alcohol derived from rice which is rare in perfume production. The bottle is made of porcelain specially crafted in the town of Arita in Japan. Enjoy this ensemble with its fragrance made from purely natural materials.
